How long have you been a YKC member?

Just one month!

How many dogs do you own?

Two dogs. One Collie cross bitch called Leela who is three and a rescue dog called Zeke who is four

What breeds have you shown or competed with in your disciplines?

Both of my dogs are crossbreeds and I have so far only taken part in Agility competitions and Companion dog shows - they have done well in both. Zeke has his first Kennel Club Agility competition at the end of April

What is your favourite thing about dogs?

Everything! They are always there for you & are grateful for everything you do for them. I love seeing my dog's faces light up when they do Agility or are rewarded for doing well in something.

What has been your most memorable moment in YKC?

I am new to the YKC but hope to create some memorable moments!

What is your favourite thing about the YKC?

I think the Young Kennel Club is a great way to get children and young adults involved and I am looking forward to all of this

Do you have any words of advice for YKC members net to the world of dogs?

I am a new member myself but I have found it very helpful using facebook and the website to find out more about the YKC

How has your dog made a difference to you or your family life?

It has encouraged me to get out and become involved in training and competitions that I wouldn't have become involved in before and I have made great friends whilst doing all of this

Is there anything else that you would like to add?

I am a helper at a local dog training school, helping to instruct Obedience and Flyball. I have worked very hard with my rescue dog, Zeke, to overcome many behavioural issues and I am very proud of him. Both my dog's are members of the Companion dog club and we enjoy going to these shows
