Roddy

My name is Rhodri, Roddy or Rodders to my friends, well friend actually. He's called Eric and he's a Lurcher and I'm a Border Collie. Ive been going to Pads Agility with my mum, Jane for about four and a half years now.

We first met Kay and Robin when they used to do their taster agility sessions at Trentham Dog Training. Anyway, my mum thought it was brilliant. I said I would go with her because she doesn't get out much and she needs all the help she can get with me, because as anyone who knows me can tell you, I can be quite silly at times. Robin thinks I'm wired up wrongly!! Well, Kay thinks I'm a lot better now and I'm really good at helping my mum out when she gets lost around the course at agility.

I still go to Sue Harvey at Trentham Dog Training. Colin is my trainer now, well I think he has to train my mum more than me; that's what he says anyway and I agree with him!

I love playing football in the garden and taking my tennis ball across the hills. Sometimes I meet Eric and we do dog stuff together like wrestling, sniffing around and pretending to chase rabbits. My mum takes me there every day and I love it.

My other favourite place is Harlyn Sands in Cornwall. We go to the beach every day; I play with my ball, swim in the sea, chase the seagulls and go for big walks around the coastal path. Fantastic!
